Letter from the President Rookie Day Youth Weekend Advertising Information |
LETTER FROM THE
PRESIDENT - OVRHA's first show of the season is
over and I am thrilled to report that we had an awesome turnout with
many familiar faces as well as lots of new ones, and the club came out
several thousand dollars ahead! I know we are going through some
tough times with this economy and I would like to thank everyone for
their support of our club. When people are making choices of where
to go show, we want to make sure that they choose our shows! We
have several great things planned for upcoming shows. The John
Clark Oil/Clarks Pump N Shop Derby will be the next show in May and
during that show we will have our annual Derby Day Dog Races. Get
your dogs tuned up and ready to race! The June show will be our
annual OVRHA Youth Weekend. You won't want to miss those shows.
Allot of fun for the kids and adults as well! In July, we
will also be hosting an NRHA Rookie Day. More information on that
is in this newsletter. Hope to see everyone at the next show!

NRHA ROOKIE DAY - July 11, 2009, OVRHA will host the Classic Equine sponsored "Rookie Day" with proceeds to go to the Reining Horse Sports Foundation (RHSF). Trainers who will be participating in this clinic are Shawn Flarida, Mike Flarida, Matt Flarida, Woody Taylor, Kathy Taylor and Mal McGuire. The price is $225 for adults and $125 for Youth which includes a stall and lunch. This is a great opportunity for a full day of learning from some of the best in the industry.
