LETTER FROM THE
PRESIDENT - Show season is well underway and once
again OVRHA members continue to be in the spotlight at many of the top
shows.
Our first show of the year is past and what a show it was! The
Jividen's Spring Slide Derby boasted 56 entries despite the bad weather
that plagued us on that day. Nothing can stop reiners from coming
and showing at Jackson! Seven of the nine divisions of the Derby
were won by OVRHA members. The ancillary classes were large and
there were many new faces from around the country at our show. Thank you
to all who attended. Madelon did an excellent job, as usual,
running the show and we would also like to thank Beth Himes for helping
her with entries, etc. Thanks again to Kim Rose and Jividen's Farm
Equipment for sponsoring our Derby. Remember the Sam Smith Clinic,
details in this newsletter and don't forget to declare your affiliate by
July 1! Hope to see everybody at the
May show!
