LETTER FROM THE
PRESIDENT - The show year is well underway and
has been quite successful for OVRHA and it's members!
Congratulations to all who have been winning not only at our shows but
at shows around the country. Don't forget to bring your unused
clothing to the show this weekend to be donated for the club to sell.
Remember the Clayton Woosley Hall of Fame show June 22-25. We
would like all our members to come out and support this joint venture of
OVRHA and CKRHA.

SHOW NEWS
- Many of our club members have been
in the spotlight at some of the major shows around the country this
year. Bernie Paetzel and Toriana Dun It have been in the top
placings in many Derbies this year most recently winning the Primetime
Non Pro division of the NRHA Derby in Oklahoma City.
Congratulations Bernie! OVRHA President Rick Clark has also had a
good year showing in the Derbies. Rick got both of his entries
into the Non Pro finals in the NRHA Derby. Roy and Sue Flynn's
horse Its Rowdy Doody Time was in the Intermediate Open finals of the
NRHA Derby with Don Boyd riding. Don's daughter Abby, who
now works for Craig Schmersal, was in the Open finals of the NRHA Derby.
In the ancillary classes at the Derby Maura Doone won the Youth 14-18
class, Jen Van Cura was 4th in the Limited Non Pro & Kali Savage was 4th
in the Youth 13 & Under.
